Relief as ODSG fixes failed Akure/Owo road portion

Relief has come for motorists playing the Akure/Owo highway as officials of the Ondo State Ministry of Works battled to fix a bad portion of the road at Eleyowo village, giving travelers discomfort.
Reports from the bad spot showed that the long queue prevalent during the weekend has eased significantly as motorists now pass through the bad portion with ease.
The Hope correspondent observed that security by policemen and men of the Amotekun Corps were easily noticed at the spot and on the highway to forestall any breach.
Motorists who spoke with our correspondent commended the Ondo State government for its timely intervention to fix the bad portion despite the fact that it is a federal highway.
All efforts to speak with officials of FERMA proved abortive.
