RENL distributes textbooks to 2,500 pupils

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR), Rubber Estates  Nigeria Limited (RENL), Araromi-Obu, has distributed textbooks in four core subjects to about 2,500 pupils of Primary and secondary schools within the area of its operation.

The schools that benefitted from the kind gestures of the management of the RENL are Local Authority Primary School, Araromi Rubber Estate and Community High School, Araromi Rubber Estate, all in Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

 Textbooks presented included, Mathematics, English Language, Social Studies, and Vocational Studies/Agricultural Science, among other educational materials. About 2, 500 school pupils covering  Pry 1-6, JSS 1-3 and SSS 1-3 benefited from the gesture.

Presenting the educational materials to the beneficiaries, the Managing Director, RENL, Philippe Carty, explained that the philosophy behind the kind gesture was to ensure the school children acquire quality education so that we can have a future generation equipped with the needed competence to function effectively, saying that is  what they do every year to contribute their quotas to the development of over 40 communities within their areas of operation across four states including Edo, Delta, Ogun and Ondo.

The  Commissioner for Education in Ondo State, Femi Agagu represented by the Area Education Officer, Odigbo LGA, Olabanji Ogundele appreciated RENL for the kind gesture.
