Renovation of Ondo Assembly’s complex begins

The Ondo State Government has commenced renovation work at the state Assembly legislative building.
This is meant to provide a conducive environment for robust legislative duties.
The building when completely renovated, according to investigation, will house state- of -the- art equipment to enhance legislative business in tandem with global standard.
Speaking on the development, Speaker of the House, Mr Oleyelogun Bamidele thanked Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for fulfilling his promise to the lawmakers.
He applauded the governor for the good things that are happening during his time.
He assured that all things positive will be done to sustain the existing relationship between the legislative and executive arms of government.
He equally pledged the support of his colleagues to the Akeredolu -led government in order to continually put smiles on the faces of the people.
Some workers of the state house of assembly who spoke in separate interviews with The Hope posited that the development will go a long way in enhancing legislative activities.
They eulogised the state government for the step taken, noting that the renovation of the assembly complex is long overdue even before the inception of the present government.
