Ismaila Maihanci, a House of Representatives member-elect for Jalingo/Yorro/Zing Federal Constituency in Taraba State, has died at the age of 36.
Reports had it that Maihanci died in the early hours of Saturday, April 22, after a brief illness at an undisclosed hospital in Abuja
It was gathered that his funeral prayer will hold on Saturday at the National Mosque in Abuja.
The politician and businessman, born on October 22, 1986, was elected in the just-concluded general election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Before his election, Maihanci served as a Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor, Darius Ishaku.
He had also served as the Secretary of PDP in Taraba State.
He is survived by his wife, Fatiha Sangari, and a son.
