A FIFA licensed agent, Mr Shalom Olaseeni has charged the executive of the Sports writers Association Of Nigeria SWAN to work hard to return the state to the rightful position in the comity of states.

He said sports is not where it should be in the state, saying SWAN as an engine that drives development not only in sports but in others sectors of the society.

Olaseeni stated this while receiving the executive members of the sports writers Association in his office, in Akure, the state capital.

He assured the association of his support, charging the executive members to set records and chattered history positively through their power of pen to make Ondo State a model and for others to emulate.

He said: my support for the association is not because I’m a friend to the association ,but for my passion and commitment for the development of the round leather game at the grassroots level.

I’m ready to partner and work with the association ,for the advancement of sports in the state.

Earlier, the chairman of the Sports writers Association Of Nigeria SWAN, Mr Segun Giwa commended the FIFA agent for his contributions to the development of sports in the state.

Giwa urged him to keep the good work going, saying he has displayed uncommon passion for sports development.

“You are a critical stakeholders in the sports circle, so we are enjoining you to develop interest in the sports politics, so that you can use the avenue to contribute your quota the more for the future athletes.”
