Rev Gbadebo enthroned Bishop

The President, Charis College of Bishop, Bishop Gift Chuks Nnaji has advised religious leaders to strive to be closer to God and stick with him in order to become righteous and gain the confidence of their followers.
Nnaji gave the advice in a sermon during the consecration, investiture and enthronement of Rev. Dr. Soji Gbadebo, JP, as a presiding Bishop of Godliveth Worldwide Ministry in Akure, Ondo State.
The bishop expressed the need for religious leaders to be diligent, truthful and spiritually devoted to be able to intercede for their followers through their prayers and preaching.
According to him, it is only when a leader recognizes God as the Alpha and Omega that such leader could be spiritually elevated in status .
“It is only when you stay with him, stick with him that you receive the desired blessings and grace to become righteous and spiritually inclined.”
Nnaji said the new bishop’s elevation was based on merit and devotion to spiritual duties.
He said Gbadebo’s exceptional qualities and dedication had made him suitable for the exalted spiritual post in the church.
In his remark, Bishop Gbadebo expressed gratitude to God, the church leaders and the followers for the opportunity given to him to serve in such capacity.
He promised to be more committed, dedicated in lifting the church to a higher level.
Bishop Gbadebo was a Permanent Secretary in the Ondo State civil service.
Present at the consecration event were Chief of Staff to the State Governor, Chief Olugbenga Ale, Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye III, former permanent secretaries and prominent religious leaders among others.
