ROSA emerge Champions of 2021 Winning Power U-17 scouting tourney

Royal Gold Soccer Academy (ROSA)have emerged winners of the 2021 Winning Power under – 17 scouting tournament.
Royal Gold defeated Young Stars 1-0 in the final match decided at the Aquinas College Akure Mini Stadium with a beautiful first half scorcher from Robert Promise.
The three days U -17 scouting tournament organised by the Academy in collaboration with Caribbean Trust, saw both finalists displayed beautiful football artistry to the administration of the spectators.
Rockrystars had earlier pipped Kingrate Football Academy 2-0 to win the third place.
Trophy and cash prize were later preset to the winners, first runner up and the third place winners.
The highlight of the final competition was the Award presentation to individuals who have contributed to the development of grassroots football in Ondo state.
Among the Awardee were Adewale Bashiru of Crest FM, President of Adeleke Football club, Alhaji Dada Adeleke, President of Weli Weli FC, Mrs Kikelomo Olupona,President Realsaphire
FC of Lagos Mr.Frank Peter, President Odomode football Academy, Ikare Akoko, Sir Toba Odomode Lacrown, Sunshine Stars Head Coach, Mr. Deji Ayeni among others.
The Awardees thanked the organizer for the recognition done on them, they said the award will motivate them to contribute more for the grassroots football development within and outside the state.
In a chat with newsmen ,the organizer of the tourney,Mr Johnson Blessing Perez revealed that about 10 players have been discovered ,which he said they will be traveling to Lagos for the second phase of the scouting event.
Perez added that any players that make the finalist in Lagos will be going to Europe for scouting or direct contract adding that the programme has been going on for about 14 years with great achievement.
