RUGIPO Rector tasks staff on dedication, institutional growth

The Acting Rector of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), Ondo State, Adegun Olorunwa, has charged staff of the institution to uphold dedication and professionalism in their service to foster institutional growth.

Speaking at a send-off ceremony in honour of the retiring Deputy Registrar, Samuel Ojo, Olorunwa emphasised the need for employees to embrace diligence, noting that commitment to duty enhances both personal and institutional progress.

He described Ojo as a model of dedication whose years of service significantly contributed to the polytechnic’s development.

According to him, staff must learn from such exemplary service to strengthen the institution’s operations.

The rector also underscored the importance of harmonious relationships between management and staff unions, urging employees to prioritise collaboration over confrontation.

He noted that unity within the institution would enhance productivity and drive sustainable development.

Olorunwa reassured staff of management’s commitment to creating a conducive work environment that encourages career growth and professional excellence.
