Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in Ondo State has described the recent news circulating that the leadership of the party had concluded arrangements to collapse its structure into the Peoples Democratic Party in the state as a political scam.

The ZLP denied the arrangement, stating that the popularity of its candidate and the structure of the party are threats to the opposition, after discovering the signal that its candidate will win the election.

The State Chairman of the party, Mr. Cornelius Akintoye, said there is no opposition party worthy of the ZLP collapsing its structure for.

“We are not ready and can never collapse our structure for any party, be it the APC or PDP.

“ZLP is winning the November 16 governorship election, and the people of the state should not fall for this political scam.

“Abbas Mimiko is the credible and alternative candidate to be voted for during the election,” the chairman stated.
