‘Safe youths from self-destruction’

Students leaders, Community, Religious and Political leaders in Ondo South Senatorial District, particularly Ilaje and Okitipupa Local Governments have been urged to come up with strategies and approaches to re-orientate our youths.
The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on New Media, Mr Oladipupo Okunniga stated this in a meeting with the President of Federation of Aye Students Union ( FASU ), Oluwatosin Ogunyemi and his executives in Ode Aye.
He said; “the Nation’s Security is under serious pressure. “There is a lot of pressure on Security.
“Let’s come together to save our youths from devastating effects of Cultism and thuggery”, he appealed.
According to him, “In Ondo South Senatorial District, particularly Igbokoda and Okitipupa, it is obvious that the challenges we are facing among the youths now is cultism and thuggery”.
“The violent crime as a result of cultism and thuggery have snowballed into deaths of many which should be condemned by all”.
“This is not only disheartening but threat to the peace of the affected communities, this he said also constitute danger to all the neighbouring communities because what affects one, affects all”, he said.
