Secure your domain, Odigbo traditional rulers tasked

Caretaker Chairman, Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Mr. Samuel Ikumawoyi has charged traditional rulers in the area to take security of their domains seriously.
Ikumawoyi gave the charge during the public hearing on the creation of Local Council Development held in Odigbo yesterday.
He restated his commitment to ensure security of lives and property of the people of Odigbo through the cooperation and support of the traditional rulers as well as the people of the areas.
He explained that a peaceful environment attracts development from both government and private individuals saying he remain committed to improving the peaceful coexistence in the local government and the state in general.
The council boss urged leaders at all levels to brainstorm and always be apostles of peace and progress to continue to enjoy the developmental drives of the state government.
According to him, “I am committed to the development of Odigbo local government and the state in general.”
Speaking on the proposed LCDAs, he described it as a welcome development that will further improve the living standard of the people at the grassroots.
Responding, Chairman, Council of Traditional Rulers in Odigbo, Oba Aderemi Adelola, the Ajobu of Araromi Obu expressed the support of monarchs and chiefs in the area to continue to enjoy the peaceful co-existence in the council.
Oba Adelola however commended the state Governor for his vision to create more local council areas in the state .
