Security agencies have tightened up security in Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State as sensitive materials arrived the Independent National Electoral Commission office in council for the Saturday’s election.
Our correspondent who was on ground when the staff of the Commission took the delivery of the materials gathered that the men of Nigeria Army, police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and Department of State Security were on ground for the safety of the materials .
Some residents who spoke with our correspondent under the condition of anonymity while expressing delight over the arrival of the election materials, promised to exercise their franchise without any fear or duress.
