Septuagenarian, two others remanded over murder

A septuagenarian, Bolanle Soladoye, has been remanded in prison by an Osogbo Magistrates’ Court over alleged murder of a labourer.

The court also remanded her  accomplices  Sina Adeoye, 38, and Fatai Bakare, 36.

Soladoye, Adeoye and Bakare were charged with conspiracy and murder.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Temitope Fatoba, said the trio conspired  and, lured their victim, Emmanuel Ogedengbe to work in their farm.

Fatoba told the court that the accused persons allegedly killed him and cut his remains into piece in the bush.

The accused persons allegedly committed the offence on May 5, 2019 at Oba-Ile area in Osogbo.

 The Magistrate, Mrs Olubunmi Ajanaku, remanded  the accused at Ilesa prison pending the legal advice from the Department of Public Prosecutor (DPP) .

The case was adjourned till September 10, 2019 for mention.
