Seven Aside Competition: Iwuanyanwu pip Julius Berger top log

As Ages FC Seven Aside Competition kicked off at Ijapo/ Housing Field , Iwuanyanwu Nationale have top the league log after defeated Julius Berger 1-0 in the second match of the opening game.
The lone goal that separated the two sides was scored by Blessing Adeyemi few minutes to end the first half of the encounter to his team advantage.
At the resumption of the second half both side continued with renewed urgency, efforts by the Julius Berger to get a leveller were well curtailed by the Iwuanyanwu Nationale back line, to ensure the grassroots competition ended 1-0 to Iwuanyanwu advantage.
Meanwhile Abiola Babes and Leventist had earlier locked in a goalless draw in the opening match of the competition.
Both teams displayed football artistry to the admiration of the spectators.
Leventist outplayed their opponent in the first half ,as they hitted the cross bar once while they continued mounting pressure on the Abiola Babes, the millionaire’s side goal Keeper was on hand to safe as many goals he could to ensure the first half remain blank.
Abiola Babes resumed the second half with three changes that turned the table against Leventist, the millionaire’s pressured which could have yielded a positive result was rued by Gbolahan Balogun (Eko) in an one on one situation with the opposing team’s goalkeeper. There was nothing to separate both sides at the end of the entertaining encounter.
