Shooting Stars mourn ex boss, Lakondoro

The Management of the Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), has mourned the demise of the former Chairman of the club, Pa Samuel Olayiwola Lakondoro.
Baba Lankodoro, was the chairman of the Oluyole Warriors in 2014.
Reacting to his death, Chairman of 3SC, Mr Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, described it as a huge loss, not only to the club but the football fraternity.
“We’ve lost a passionate lover of Shooting Stars and the round leather game as a whole. He was such a die hard fan of the club, even at his old age
“As the chairman of 3SC, he contributed immensely to the success of the club and even after leaving office, he dedicated his time to supporting the club”, Olaniyan said.
“We take solace in the fact that Baba lived a fulfilled life and enjoyed the labour of his hands till he died at a ripe age. We pray God grants him eternal rest,” the 3SC chairman concluded.
Baba Lakondoro was a staunch supporter of the Oluyole Warriors before he was appointed as the club’s chairman in 2014 by the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who was then the governor of Oyo State.
Meanwhile, the remains of Pa Lakondoro were committed to mother earth on Thursday evening at his Ajadi area, Ologuneru residence.
