The breaking of Coronavirus pandemic in China came with controversy in the world one year ago. There were various theories as to the origin of the pandemic. Some theorists said that it was China virus that went wrong, while others said it was a natural disaster in the world. Even some believed that it was a virus from God to bring the lost children back to him.
Getting solution to the pandemic also engulfed into controversy as many countries that were coming out with vaccines to overcome the virus mostly from Africa and third world were rejected by the world body. But finally, vaccines have been found to the cure of Coronavirus in the world.
In Nigeria, hardly has the vaccine allocated to the country landed that the Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello concluded that he would not received the vaccine jab. It would be recalled that the same governor during the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic said that the virus was not in his state and disallowed emissaries from the federal Ministry of Health entering the state. He has repeatedly violated social distancing rules, among other protocol to curb the spread of the virus.
The governor while addressing a crowd in the state, doubted the authenticity of the vaccine, saying there is no cure for HIV and many other diseases troubling mankind.
He added that the use of COVID-19 vaccines was meant to kill people in the country.
” Vaccines are being produced in less than one year for HIV, malaria, cancer, headache and for several other diseases that are killing us. They want to use the vaccines to introduce the disease that will kill you and us.
” We should draw our minds back to what happened in Kano during the Pfizer polio vaccines that crippled and killed our children. We have learned our lessons.
”If they say they are taking the vaccines in the public allow them take their vaccines. Don’t say I said you should not take it but if you want to take it open your eyes before you take the vaccines.
This is not the first time the Kogi governor would cast doubt on the existence of the viral disease or the potency of the vaccine.
Also a pastor based in United States of America, USA, Adewale Giwa has said that what Nigerians need now is Jesus Christ not Vaccines.
” Hear me again God’s people, the vaccines they took were meant for malaria. Do not let anyone deceive you to go take a vaccine that will shorten your life.
“It’s not important to agree with me, but be watchful, prayerful and careful. Many of you read on the pages of newspapers in April when I told the world that a vaccine was coming.
“It has finally come, and they are doing everything possible to convince you to be vaccinated. Let me tell the president and his vice that Nigerians need Jesus Christ not a vaccine.
”They have also hinted that very soon, nobody will be able to travel without the Covid-19 vaccination certificate. Why do you want to force me to get what I don’t want to? Do not forget that they had wanted to implement this through Infectious Diseases Bill but God said no.
”Now, the devil is using them again to deceive the people. Were you there when they made the vaccines?
”If coronavirus could not kill all of us in March till date, why introduce a vaccine that will shorten people’s lives? Let those who need it take it. As for me, the only name on my lips is Jesus Christ.
“At the cross over service on December 24, I told you to expect great tribulation anytime soon and only those who endure who will be saved.
“You can’t kill me before God’s appointed time and I refuse to be cajoled, deceived or manipulated. Their plans will fail unless it’s God’s will.
“I am sure you won’t try to collect food from destiny killers because if you do, you will die before your appointed time.
“Over the years, these people have shown us that they are our enemies and do not want our progress. Do you know how many people dying of hunger on a daily basis?
“A woman rushed to the church a few days ago, crying and asking for just N2,000 to buy stuffs for her children.
“What baffles me was that she says her 5-year-old child had earlier died of malnutrition and wouldn’t want the same scenario repeat itself.
“Hunger has killed a lot of people in Nigeria compared to foreign disease such as coronavirus. For how long will they continue to deceive themselves?
“The covid-19 vaccine is worse than a poison; we must not allow ourselves to be fooled. You can’t display malaria injections on live television to deceive the people.
“If they don’t want us to die of coronavirus by introducing a vaccine as claimed, they would have crushed criminal fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram killing our people without bringing them to justice.
“Between coronavirus and hunger, which one would you tackle first? You are sick in the head if you allow yourself to be deceived. Please, run to Jesus Christ.
