A Nigerian gospel artiste, Kehinde Adegoke has urged people to love and care for everyone, not only on Valentine’s Day.

He noted that as Christians, that was all Jesus asked from them and they must obey Him by caring for people around them.  He said this must be done because God Himself loves everyone.

During an interview with Friday Extravaganza, he noted that Valentine day is a special day of romantic love for couples to spend together.

According to him, traditionally, it’s associated with red hearts, romance, flowers, candy or other sweet things, and the exchange of cards, called valentines, that express the level of love for each other.

Adegoke urged all single men and ladies not to use this medium to ruin their lives all in the name of Valentine, saying the enjoyment of five minutes could make them lose their integrity

He advised that people should use Valentine’s day as an avenue to love each others, saying if they love themselves in this country, all bad incidents would not be happening.

Adegoke, a final year student from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, noted that he has been demonstrating his love towards his fans and friends since he has been singing.

He noted that people should learn how to relate with each other in love, adding that  it is only love that can guarantee peace at home
