Shun admission racketeering, Provost advises students

Students seeking admission into the Ondo State College of Health Technology, Akure have been advised to shun admission racketeering in order not to be duped.

Provost of the institution, Dr. Felix Olawoye gave the advice while speaking with The Hope  the ongoing entrance examination of the school.

According to him, the school maintains a high standard which he said cannot be compromised as laid down by the State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

He noted that they need not know or pay anyone to gain admission into the school.

 Registrar of the school, Mr. Omotosho Babatunde said that 1,500 students are expected to sit for the exam which started on Monday and runs through the week.

He explained that admission process starts immediately the school determines the cut off mark, stating that there will be admission into virtually all the departments in the school.

He described the process as peaceful, stating that security personnel have been on ground to ensure that law and order are maintained.

While noting that the students get their score immediately they submit as it is a Computer Based Test, he called on parents to ensure that their children are  computer compliant in order to be able to compete with their counterparts in order parts of the world.
