Shun inciting comments, religious leaders advised

Religious leaders in Nigeria have been admonished  against comments that could bring disunity to the country.

The Shepherd in charge of Moses Orimolade Mount Daniel C and S, Church, Ilepa Ikare Akoko,  Apostle Prester Ogunmodede, gave the   Sunday during  the church service.

Ogunmodede observed that in recent times, some church leaders had made comments and embarked on actions that were sentimental and partsans which nearly put the country on fire.

He advised that instead of making inflammatory statements, they should rather be an umpire focusing on guidance and counselling in order to make the country great.

The cleric called on government to continue to make lives meaningful to the citizens by way of providing palliatives that will bring succour after the fuel hike that had brought alot of hardships to the ordinary citizens.

He gave kudos to President Bola Ahmed  Tinubu for assembling list of dedicated and credible Nigerians as ministerial nominees,
