Signage/advert fees: ODSG to embark on enforcement activities

The Ondo State Government will next Monday embark on 30 days enforcement activities on signage and advert fees  across the 18 Local Government areas of the State.

The state commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Donald Ojogo, stated this in a statement.

According to him, the Taskforce and Enforcement Team of the Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OSSAA) will visit all local governments in the State.

The Commissioner said the move is to enhance the Internally Generated Revenue drive of the State Government, adding that the public awareness campaign is aimed at achieving maximum compliance in payment of taxes.

He solicited the support and cooperation of relevant stakeholders and members of the public towards the success of the exercise.

Ojogo reiterated the determination of the state government towards completion of all on-going projects and execution of new ones in the best interest of the people of the state.
