The Ondo State Coordinator of SMEDAN, Prince Tomi Ikuomola, has confirmed the organisation’s readiness to commence the disbursement of the COVID-19 recovery fund to 100 beneficiaries across the state.

He made this known in an interview with The Hope in Akure.

Ikuomola stated that SMEDAN is collaborating with the State Government on the post-COVID recovery fund, which has now reached the disbursement stage.

“Out of about 200 applicants, nearly 100 from SMEDAN are benefiting from the post-COVID grant,” he said.

He further disclosed that beneficiaries would begin receiving alerts soon.

He noted that the grant, provided through the Ondo State Government’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, is aimed at supporting artisans, farmers, and agro-processors.

“We are working closely with the ministry, and they are crediting beneficiaries individually with amounts ranging from N300,000 to N600,000,” he stated.
