“When we were about to begin plenary sitting on Wednesday at the chamber, snake suddenly appeared, thank God it did not bite anybody, otherwise people would have asked lots of questions from me. Yesterday again, right where my sit is, ceiling started falling which made us to go back to our respective offices, we can no longer continue legislative business here, everything is deplorable “,he said.

The speaker who averred that they do not want to record any death in the house maintained that they are embarking on compulsory recess pending when things will be put to normal shape.

While stating that they have a lot of pending bills  which would enhance productivity and bring investors to the state, he posited that urgent step must be taken.

Corroborating the speaker’s words, the Deputy Speaker, Mr Iroju Ogundeji noted that the chamber is an eye saw saying that the deplorable condition of the chamber starting from the entrance, roof, furnitures among others is worrisome.
