Sotitobire: Court to hear application today

All things being equal, the motion on notice before an Akure Magistrate Court would be heard today, in the case against Alfa Babatunde Olumoyo, the founder of Sotitobire Miracle Centre.
Olumoyo alongside some of his church workers, would again appear in court over the disappearance of a one year and one month old child, Eninlaloluwa Gold, who got missing at the church auditorium in November last year.
At the last sitting, hearing notice was served on all the parties in the matter, while the Chief Magistrate, adjourned the case till today February 5, for hearing.
When the case was mentioned, the state Counsel from the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Mrs Grace Olowoporoku, informed the court that the department has issued a legal advice on the matter.
It would be recalled that, at the last sitting, journalists were barred from covering the case involving the founder and five others at an Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting at Oke-Eda, Akure.
