Speech-a-thon: Olusa ends record-breaking attempt at 112 hours

Nigerian public speaker, Christopher Olusa has ended his Guinness World Record-breaking attempt for the Longest Speech Marathon by an individual after 112 hours.

Olusa broke the GWR of 90 hours and 2minutes set by a Nepali, Ananta Ram, in 2018.

The indigene of Ajowa Akoko in Ondo State extended the record by 22 hours.

The 24-year old graduate began the attempt to deliver speech for 120 hours at
DEJAVU Hotel, Alagbaka Akure, Ondo State on September 11, 2023.

Tagged, “From Words to World Records”, Olusa will have his name written in the Guinness Book of Records after official confirmation by GWR.
