Sports Commissioner approves Niger Tornadoes interim coach

The Niger State Commissioner of Sports Development, Mr Emmanuel Duza Babur had approved the appointment of Hamza Abarah as the interim coach of Niger Tornadoes Football Club . During a combined meeting of the Ministry and Niger Tornadoes club management.
Mr Duza Babur, in a press statement stated that approval had been given to Coach Hamza Abarah as an interim Coach and Head of Technical crew, the Commissioner said he had consulted with Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, who has given his node for the approval.
Duza Babur explained that the approval is geared towards reinvigorating the team for the task ahead as part of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello’s restoration agenda in sports development, the commissioner confirmed that Coach Hamza Abarah will oversee the club technical crew as an interim head, he further pinpointed the need for the team to work together in order to move to the top league table.
It will be recalled that the former head Coach of Niger Tornadoes football club of Minna Mr Bernard Ogbe tendered his resignation letter on the of February 4, 2019 after the club 3-1 defeat in Katsina against Katsina United in the Nigeria Professional Football League match day which was Sunday February 3, 2019. Coach Hamza Abarah had since taken over as the interim head and technical adviser of the club.
