Wife of Osun state governor, Mrs Kafayat Oyetola has described sports as an essential ingredient to sharpen the brain and the body.
She stated this during the school for the Special Needs 2019 inter House Sports Competition programme in Osogbo.
According to the first lady, sport also help to tackle mental challenges facing human being and put their body in good state of health.
The wife of the Governor, who was accompanied by wives of political office holders and other female politicians charged the students of school for Special Needs to take their education with all the seriousness it deserves.
Mrs Oyetola further stressed that, the fact that the students are participating in the sports does not hinder them from achieving their academic goals in life.
She noted that students participating in sports would further enhance their physical capabilities, hence reduces thier physical challenges due to stress encountered during academic work in the class.
Mrs Oyetola, who appreciated the teachers and allied staff for their Commitment shown over the years to train the children stated clearly that the only goal and mission of the present administration in Osun is to ensure better livelihood for the people of the State without living anybody behind.
