The Management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, has assured applicants vying for vacant positions in the institution of a level-playing ground devoid of favouritism and partiality.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Igbekele Ajibefun, gave the assurance while supervising an aptitude test for applicants seeking employment in the institution.

Ajibefun said every applicant would be tested and treated fairly  on merit and debunked insinuations that the tests were mere smokescreen, emphasizing that the institution is noted for meritocracy in staff appointment as well as students’  admission.

He said management places premium on excellence and capability over primordial interests, even as he assured that every applicant would be tested to ensure only the best is considered.

The Vice Chancellor commended the officers supervising the exercise for managing the huge crowd of applicants in a way that made the exercise smooth and orderly.
