Amotekun warns residents

The Field Commander of Osun Western Security Network Agency codenamed “Amotekun Corps” Comrade Amitolu Shittu has warned  residents of the state to stop harbouring criminals in their domains.

He disclosed while featuring on Osbc Radio 104.5fm Program tagged “Ela Loro” on Wednesday, said the security outfit is ever battle ready to rid off criminals from the State

He warned  terrorists that against any form of attack because it would be resisted

 He urged residents to cease harboring criminal elements in the state and they should raise alarm when discovering any unknown faces in their communities.

Amitolu who described the Yorubas as peace-loving and despise the shedding of blood, however, maintained that that has not made the tribe to be cowards. “We are not for cowardice. We are not cowards and we can not live in cowardice.

“We are valiant warriors in the land, in the sea, in the air and we are warlords of warlords who are great in battle; we are unrepentant warriors on any battlefield.

“We do not take anything that has to do with securing the lives of people and property lightly. We rapidly work on any piece of information that concerns security to ascertain whether it is genuine or not.”

He commended governor Gboyega Oyetola for his contributions to the security architecture of the state, which has helped the state to be secure since his assumption into office.

He similarly unveiled the attainments of the outfit since its inception which has apprehended a lot of criminals ranging from Armed Robbery, Rapists Cultists, Marauders, and Hooligans who are cooling their faces in the prison.

He informed the residents to reveal criminals in their neighborhoods to the Amotekun corps to for onward action saying the job of effective crime prevention and control is for all and sundry.
