The petitioner is asking the Court to restrain APC from going ahead with the election until there is full compliance with the provisions of the Electoral Act, 2022, in the conduct of the planned election.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had kicked against the October 12 local government election in the state slated  and approached the court to determine the legality, constitutionality or otherwise of the process.
