Students rally for education enhancement in Ondo

To have a more inclusive and developed education system in Ondo State, secondary school students expressed a collective desire for improved infrastructure, qualified teaching staff, updated resources, and enhanced safety measures to create a conducive learning environment.

Timileyin Victor, the senior prefect of Ijapo High School in Akure, emphasized the urgent need for more teachers to address the growing student population, urging the government to take action.

Precious Ayayi echoes this sentiment, highlighting the lack of laboratory equipment in public schools and the detrimental impact on science education.

Olaoluwa Ayomide stresses the importance of more qualified teachers for ensuring academic excellence, while Inioluwa Akinola emphasizes the need for better maintenance of school facilities.

Esther Bello and Ifeoluwa Ayodeji highlighted the need for school renovations and improvements, from fixing windows and doors to ensuring punctuality through active shuttle buses. Nifemi Oluroye calls for updated technology and equipment, particularly in computer and science labs.

Yakubu Fathimoh Iyanuoluwa raised concerns about dilapidated school buildings and insufficient teaching staff, especially in rural areas.
