The Chairman of Akoko Northwest Local Government Chapter of the Association of The Physically Challenged Persons, Mr Awe Sunday, made the call in a chat with The Hope.

Awe noted that members of the association are the worst affected by the hardships because they are not mobile like able bodied citizens.

He, therefore canvassed for N20,000 monthly allowance for disabled families to ease the hardships they are facing.

Awe noted that the plight of physically challenged is enormous and deserves urgent and prompt attention by the federal government.

He reminded President Bola Tinubu the need to give automatic employment to graduates members of the association while artisans among them deserved empowerment.

He urged the Ondo state Government to do more for the government-owned school for the physically challenged, Ikare Akoko, to make lives more meaningful for them.
