Sunshine Queens condole with Aluko- Olaseni family over daughter’s death

The management of Sunshine Queens football club of Akure has commiserated with the family of late goalkeeper of the team, Aluko-Olaseni whose death was announced few days ago.

The management of the Ondo State based side described the death of Aluko Olaseni who last played for Sunshine Queens in 2007/08 season as sad.

Aluko Olaseni was reportedly said to have battled with cancer for eight years before she passed on last week.

“We express our grief over the death of Aluko Olaseni and we consequently, prayed to God to give her family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss of their daughter.

We urge the family to take solace in the fact that God giveth and taketh.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.”
