Sunshine Stars, Adamimogo FC trade tackles in FA Cup final

Sunshine Stars Football Club will today trade tackles with Adamimogo FC in the final of the Ondo State FA Cup after defeating its Feeders team in the first Semi final of the encounter decided at the state Sports complex,Akure.

While Adamimogo FC also defeated Wonder Xchange 3-0 in the second semi finals of the match day decided at the same venue.

The first semi final between Sunshine Stars and Sunshine Stars Feeders team lived up to expectations as both sides displayed football artistry to the admiration of the spectators at the sporting arena.

Both teams failed to find the back of the net in the first half of the cagey encounter as the score board remained blank.

The Feeders team showed they have something to offer if given the opportunity in the main team, while the former also proved while they were in the first team in the second half. As Temitope Vincent lifted them above their opponent vide a spot kick after one of his team mates was brought down in the box.

Vincent stepped in and sent the Feeders goal keeper the wrong ways to give his side the needed decider of the semi final game.

Efforts by the Sunshine Stars Feeders to get a leveler were thwarted by the main team as they went away with the lone goal.
