Sunshine Stars appoint Team Doctor, embark on two weeks break

Determined to equip and strengthen its medical department for optimal performance, Sunshine Stars Footbal Club has engaged the service of Dr. Babatunde Akinbinu as the new Team Doctor.
The graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and holder of Diploma in Football Medicine, has by this appointment joined the illustrious list of doctors to have worked with Sunshine Stars, which include former Ondo NMA Chairman, Dr Ismaila Busari.
Dr Akinbinu has assumed duty with the Club.
Meanwhile, in a release made available to newsmen by the club’s Media head, Chris Okunnuwa,”in compliance with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) suspension of all football activities across the country, due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, the Ondo State owned football team, Sunshine Stars has embarked on two weeks break.
The release also stated that players should embark on individual fitness programme during the break, while it also advised all personnel and the fans to stay safe of the current coronavirus pandemic by adhering to the Government – given guidelines with their families.
