Sunshine Stars condole with Rangers over player’s death

Sunshine Stars FC have extended a heartfelt sympathy to Enugu Rangers FC, following the death of their player, Ifeanyi George in a fatal road accident.
In a release from the Club’s Media Head, Chris Okunnuwa, the club President, Otunba Tajudeen Akinyemi, upon receiving news of the tragic incident, expressed sadness and deep sense of compassion to Rangers and the family of the late striker.
“This again is very sad; one death too many for our football to deal with, my heart is heavy. Well, it is the will of God that death be the necessary end to all mortals.
“Sunshine Stars deeply sympathise with Rangers and the family of all those involved in the road mishap. May God grant them the fortitude to overcome this trying moment.” Akinyemi submitted.
According to a press release from Rangers Media, George was on board his car in company of a friend and one Team ‘B’ player of his Club when they smashed into a parked articulated vehicle along Onitsha-Agbor-Benin road, Sunday morning.
