Sunshine Stars football club of Akure have embarked on a close camping ahead of the Elite League kickoff billed for August 26th.
The Media Officer of the team, Michael Akintunde in a statement disclosed that the Akure based side took the decision to allow the technical crew execute their strategic tactics and help the players to sharpen their skills in an environment devoid of distractions ahead of the league opener .
Recalled Sunshine stars FC under the tutelage of Edith Agoye achieved an impressive feat last season, ended the 2022/23 season 4th on the league table.
The statement further advised relevant stakeholders in the state not to relent in giving their support to the team .
