Sunshine Stars players and officials have ended their Christmas/New Year break to begin the final phase of preparations for the 2018/19 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

This was contained in a release made available to the newsmen in Akure the state capital by the team media officer , Chris Okunnuwa .

The team regrouped at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure yesterday evening for the first training session of the year under the guidance of coach Kabiru Dogo.

Sunshine Stars are to move out of Akure to an out-of-state location later in the week for close camping.

The group will look out to fine tune and complete preparations for the new season during the camping period.
