Sunshine Stars sign off Sasere to Lugano FC

The Sunshine Stars football club have agreed to sell one of their attackers, Franklyn Sasere to Lugano football club of Switzerland.

The deal was sealed  between the Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Mr. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye and the management of Sunshine Stars on one hand and agents of Lugano football club.

Giving a breakdown of the contractual agreement, the Chairman of Ondo State Football Agency, Chief Tajudeen Akinyemi said the club will pocket 100,000 euros from the deal, with a proviso to earn another percentage in case the player gets a better offer from a bigger club.

He added that the player, Franklyn has been slated to earn over 15,000 euros on a monthly basis.

The Commissioner, described the deal as a welcome development.

“We are happy about this. Its in line with our vision to ensure that youths progress in their line of endeavours.”
