Sunshine Stars U -19 team resume camp Monday


…Screening opens for under age players – ODSFA Chairman

Successful players in the first phase of the Sunshine Stars Academy screening have been directed to resume at the Ondo State Football Agency ODSFA on Monday.

The executive Chairman of the Agency ,Mr Bamidele Ologunloluwa stated this in a statement issued in Akure by the team’s media officer, Gbenga Oluwajana.

The statement added that interested players within the ages of 16 to 19 years still have a chance to participate fully in the ongoing screening exercise at the agency.

Ologunloluwa planning ongoing to start training for U-13 and U-15 youth team every Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon.

He said the purpose of the screening exercise is to ensure that the vision of Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, which was to revive the youth team and develop football at the grassroots is accomplished.

Ologunloluwa said the main focus is not to depend and expend solely on the senior team, Sunshine Stars alone but to discover and harness potentials of the youths for national and international recognition.
