Super Eagles slump in FIFA ranking

The poor performance of the Nigeria’s Super Eagles in the match day 3 and 4 of the World Cup qualifier has reflected in the latest FIFA rankings.

The 3-time African champions failed to secure a win in both games.

The ranking for the month of May was released on Thursday morning and Super Eagles dropped 8 places to place 38th in the World.

Apart from dropping from the World ranking, they also slipped to the 5th position in the continent.

World champions, Argentina remained on top of the ranking with France in second position and England also dropping a spot.

Morocco,Senegal,Egypt and Ivory Coast were in first four positions while Nigeria,Tunisia,Algeria Cameroon, Mali, South Africa occupied the remaining six positions respectively.
