Nigeria is set for economic upswing as the present administration has shown the political will to lead the nation to an era of prosperity and development.
The Vicar of Emmanuel Anglican Church, Edo, Ikare Akoko, Venerable Isaac Awowole, stated this in a chat with The Hope on Sunday.
Awowole disclosed that the current moves, both economic and administrative policies, of President Bola Tinubu in the past one month are strong indications to this effect.
He, therefore, appealed to NIgerians to join hands with government to revamp the ailing economy.
However, he has charged Nigerian from all walks of life to shun hatred, backbiting, lawlessness and other vices so as to make the new administration achieved its lofty ideas and policies.
The cleric who was worried about youths involvement in crimes like kidnapping, examination malpractices, drug abuse, internet fraud and ritual killings blamed these on the urge to get rich quickly
Awowole cautioned oil marketers not to increase pump price of petrol from the present N550 naira as the masses are suffering from abject poverty.
He equally appealed to state and local governments to see the reason to work in tandem with the operational modus operandi of the Tinubu led administration to ensure a total recovery from the present economic quagmire.
Meanwhile, the cleric has called on all Nigerians, irrespective of their religion inclination, to continue to pray fervently for the country, her leaders and the citizens
