Supporters of Governor Ademola Adeleke and Gboyega Oyetola are now in high spirit that they will get a favorable judgement as both parties will adopt their written addresses and submission at the Supreme Court today.

The Apex Court had announced last week that the affected parties in the election will be at Supreme Court in Abuja to submit their written addresses during which judgement date would be announced at a later date

A five – man panel had been set up by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola

The panel has Justice John Inyang Okoro, Justice Lawal Garba, Justice Adamu Jauro, Justice Tijjani Abubakar and Justice Emmanuel Agim.

Our correspondent learnt that ,the supporters of immediate past Governor Gboyega Oyetola of the APC continued organising prayers at various Mosque across the State since last Friday asking Allah to give them favourable judgement at Apex Court and restored their mandate to them .

Similarly, the ruling PDP under the leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke are looking very optimistic that the Supreme Court will affirm the judgement of Court of Appeal which gave them victory.

PDP during the last congress held at Osogbo Township Stadium also prayed fervently to God to give them favourable judgement, as the party Caretaker Chairman, Dr Adekunle Akindele and the new elected  State Chairman, Mr Sunday Bisi during their separate speeches said they were sure that Adeleke will remain governor of the state .

They believe that the love and acceptance of the party since Adeleke took over the  mantle of leadership and his unprecedented performances in various infrastructures including payment of workers and pensioners salaries ,it is obvious that APC had been rejected and no need of their supporters to be optimistic .

The Osun APC in a statement by its acting Chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, had  alleged that the PDP in Osun had perfected an arrangement to hire political hoodlums to besiege the Supreme Court.

Reacting, the Osun PDP dismissed the APC’s claims describing them as hallucinations.

In a statement by the Osun PDP Chairman, Sunday Bisi, the party called on the APC to act responsibly by stopping deceit which it said accounted for its defeat in recent several elections in Osun State.
