Osun State Independent Petroleum Marketers of Nigeria, IPMAN, has urged the State government to resolve the issue of multiple taxation on its members.
They equally asked the state government to consider them for all series of empowerment especially loans and grants which will give a boost to their businesses among other benefits.
The Chairman of the union, Adeniyi Odetunde who made this known in Osogbo appreciated Governor Gboyega Oyetola for his leadership skills and qualities which had made him a unique breed of all helmsmen.
Odetunde noted that they are ready to stand in partnership with the government in a bid to chart a seamless way of tax collection among the members which would be for mutual benefits.
He stated that the Union appreciates the long-standing supportive gesture of Oyetola to their association even before becoming the first man of the state.
They commended him for how he saved about hundred filling stations which were about to be demolished at a time in the past.
“We have not seen a Governor like Oyetola before who is calm, attentive and responsive to critical issues which require swift attention of government.
“He is not only a listening leader but also with democratic principles whose governance is people-centred and depicts the true reflection of democratic standards.
“He is ensuring he fulfils his promises made to the people during the electioneering period and equally aligns his policies and programme with the popular opinion poll of the masses. This is why we believe his second term reelection will come with no stress at all”, he added.
