Teaching, best profession ever —Aiyedatiwa

The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has described teaching as the best profession anyone could practise.

Aiyedatiwa who received the Best Head-Teacher awardee from the Southern Senatorial District, presented by Mr. Abayomi Goodluck said even though the profession does not come with commensurate income, it remains the best.

The Deputy Governor who was also a classroom former teacher and Headteacher added that “after our parents, it is the teacher who inculcates good values and wisdom into our lives. They play a very important role in every pupil’s life.”

The Deputy Governor narrated how he also emerged the best headteacher and till date no teacher had met his record in that school where he taught.

He congratulated Mr Abayomi for making Ilaje nation proud due to his hard work and commitment, charging him to do more.

Mr. Abayomi, who hails from Erunna Community in Ilaje Local Government area and currently the Head Teacher, C & S Primary School, Oke-Ipare, bagged the award of “Outstanding Head Teacher in Ondo Southern Senatorial District” at this year World Teachers’ Day.

Other prominent leaders and Comrades who honoured Goodluck include; Chairman OSOPADEC, Otunba Sam Erejuwa, Chairman Civil Service Commission, Mr. Ajose Kudehinbu, Education Secretary Ilaje LGEA,  Alex Kalejaye, NUT State Secretary Ondo State Wing, Mrs. Ogunjobi and Princes Ogunfeyimi Oyewunmi, among others.
