Teamwork among agencies key to success – Osamaye

By Josephine Oguntoyinbo

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr Seun Osamaye, has emphasised the importance of collaboration among government agencies in achieving greater objectives.

She stated this while receiving the management team of the Ondo State Agency Against Gender-Based Violence (OSAAGBV), who paid her a courtesy visit in her office.

Dr Osamaye pointed out that many agencies have lost significant opportunities due to operating in isolation.

She assured the team of her unwavering support in ensuring they discharge their official duties efficiently and effectively.

Commending the Executive Secretary of OSAAGBV, Bolanle Afolabi, for her dedication and expertise, Dr Osamaye described her as a woman of substance with a deep understanding of her field.

She encouraged Afolabi to maintain close communication, stressing that her door remains open for consultations.

Earlier, Afolabi congratulated Dr Osamaye on her reappointment as Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Affairs and Social Development, attributing the development to her exceptional performance during her previous tenure.

She further outlined the agency’s activities, achievements, and challenges while seeking the Special Adviser’s support in fulfilling its mandate under the Ministry of Women Affairs to realise its set objectives.
