Tell Nigerians what you’ve done, Tinubu orders ministers

President Bola Tinubu has ordered all ministers in his administration to give account of their stewardship to Nigerians with immediate effect.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, announced the presidential order at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
The minister said the briefing by the ministers is to enable Nigerians to know what the government has done and to ask questions.
Idris noted that other ministers would also take turns weekly to address Nigerians as part of the ongoing ministerial press briefings.
The ministerial press briefings come ahead of the second anniversary of Tinubu’s administration, reinforcing the government’s commitment to keeping citizens informed about its programme and policies.
Recall that Tinubu made minister to sign performance guidelines before their swearing in.
