The Hope Deputy Editor says I do

It was a joyful moment at the ancient city of Owo during the conjugal bliss between the Deputy Editor of The Hope newspaper Rev David Akinadewo and his hearthrob Zipporah Simidele Ifedola Akinadewo.

The traditional wedding ceremony was held at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Auditorium Owo, in Owo local Government area of Ondo state.

The reception was held immediately after the engagement at the same venue .

The Governor of Lagos state GOMAN, Pastor Philip Olayiwola who was the Chairman of the occasion , advised the couple to continue loving each other according to what the scripture preaches.

“You are doing this wedding to honour God and do what is necessary because God has perfected everything in your life, as he is in control of your home.”

“We are all seeing the presence of God in your family, continue to love your wife, as you have been doing .

Today as you are taking another step, God is expecting you to be more obedient, diligent to him and show more love to your wife”, he counsels.

Lady Evangelist Joko Ojuolape and her band members added glamour to the event with their sonorous voices.

It was another interesting moment when the groom took the microphone and showed his musical talent by singing from one of his famous albums (Aremolekun)

The well attended ceremony had in attendance, members of Nigeria Union of Journalists led by former National Deputy president, Mr Rotimi Obamuwagun, Editor and General Editor of The Hope newspaper, Mr Akin Adubuola ,Mr Shina Ogunjobi respectively and other staff of the organisation, GOMAN Governors from different States, Representative of Evangelist Dr. Bola Are, Pastor Tunde Ayodele, National Officer GOMAN, Staff of Ondo State Hospital management Board and Nurses across the state.
