The Hope reporter bags FRSC award

In recognition of her role in giving the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Ondo State Command objective and sustained reportage which helped in the reduction of road traffic crashes and fatalities, the Commission has presented an award to The Hope crime reporter, Tola Gbadamosi.

Gbadamosi was particularly honoured for adding value to the achievements of the corps in road safety management through robust public campaign and awareness the Corps embarked upon in the year 2019.

At the occasion held in Akure, the Zonal Commanding Officer, ACM, Godwin Ogagaoghene, in his address urged Corps  not to relent but to do  better in 2020 charging them  to ensure that the roads are safe.

Earlier in his welcome speech, the Ondo Sector Commander,  Rotimi Adeleye said the achievements of  a predetermined success and the recordings  paved  way for more remarkable laurels to be  won.

He said the reward of hard work was to encourage people   to do more so that the command can  achieve a better feat in the year 2020.

In a goodwill message, the Ondo State Commander of  NDLEA, Mr Haruna Gagara  reiterated  the security operatives  continuous support as he prayed for  an improved achievements to surpass  last year.

Gbadamosi was described  as a restless journalist who is passionate about news.

He said the reward of hard work was to encourage people   to do  more  so that the command can  achieve a better feat in the new year in line with 2020.

He appreciated the state Governor,  Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for creating an enabling environment  to be successful and the people for their hospitality which allowed  for adequate improvements recorded.

Other journalists also recognised were; Ogunyemi Mufutau of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Lanre Poroye of the Federal Radio Corporation (FRCN)and Ayo Olorunfemi of the Breeze FM.
