Sociological Networks, it’s said to be a concept for a set of Social relations between systems that interact and which are convinced individuals.  Social groups or teams networking issue have been cited as factors influencing business success. Networking assists business ventures performance through peers’ advice, access to complementary skills, information sharing and discussing solution to common problems encountered during the running of the business or ventures, covering or reaching larger population with a business or product.

Strong networks (social, public and professional) and practices of networking, this always foster venture growth, it make the business all-out successful.   Entrepreneurs must belong to at least one formal network, though, there is informal network which also serve the purpose of reaching out but not as the formal network. Networking allows the entrepreneur to take advantage of the changes in the market and the diversity of information to develop new opportunities.

Social network is currently a very frequently used term especially in connection with the web community networks such as Facebook.  In practice all function at work either private or public; especially private business makes good use of networking.  This is all about relationships that include social interaction and social communication.  Social networking can be best described as mapping and analyzing, although the usual methods of social network analysis is to influences the events and decision making in the organization by setting out structures which enables one to reach out to many at a point.  Making the spread of a particular business or product to reach or covers a wide range of consumers within the local or national or even worldwide. Other types of networking include twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram etc.

In Nigeria, Particularly in Ondo we have lots of entrepreneurs who actually understand the efficacy of networking, but some are yet to key into this.   To become an entrepreneur, you need a wide network of connections.  It is important to connect with other professionals and experts in your industry, particularly if you are looking for partners, mentors, or just associates to keep in touch with. It can be essential to interact with like-minded individuals who share your business interest or perhaps experience the problems your company will be setting out to solve.   Exchange cards with other professionals, such as lawyers, financial advisors, and entrepreneurs in other industries or similar industries/business.

Begin to connect with them as early as possible.  One customer who can give over 10 potential customers, through networking will enables you to reach 100 or more customers.
