Three escape death in Ondo lone accident

No fewer than three persons escaped death by a whisker in the early hours of Monday in a road accident that occurred along Oba-ile/ Airport road in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission in Ondo State, Mr. Ezekiel Sonallah made this disclosure to The Hope Metro in Akure.
Sonallah said the accident occurred at about 6:23 am, close to Mummy’s Place International School, along Oba-ile/ Airport road.
He disclosed that a white J5 FORD vehicle with number plate MD584X had a tyre bust, caught fire and was completely burnt.
According to him, one person sustained severe injuries and he had been taken to the hospital for treatment.
The sector commander said that personnel of the command had cleared the scene of the accident to ensure free vehicular movement in the area.
Sonallah advised motorists to be careful when using the highways by obeying road traffic regulations to ensure safety.
He said that any errant driver caught violating traffic laws would not be spared when apprehended.
